Title: Java Developer with Sterling

Location:-Cincinnati OH

Duration:- Long term

Position:- Open for both contract or FTE

Rate:- Open.

 

Sterling product knowledge is must.

 

Skills Required 7+ years experience in the following):

·         Strong problem solving skills

·         Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal guidance

·         WebLogic

·         UNIX

·         Expert experience in other Java technologies including Servlets 2.3, Struts 1.3/2.0,JSP 2.0, JDBC, Core Java, Custom Tags, Struts/Tiles, Swing and other J2EE technologies; and familiarity with XML, XSD, and XSL. Other object oriented design experience, experience applying design patterns.

·         Familiarity with front-end technologies - Object-Oriented JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, JQUERY, SVG, EXT JS, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML/DOM.
-Experience with XML and Web Services (SOAP, Axis, XML-RPC, etc), Application server experience (BEA WebLogic), and Configuration Management/source control tools (Borland Star Team).

·         Familiarity with queuing systems (e.g. MQ Series, JMS, Oracle 11.01 etc.)

·         RDBMS Oracle strongly preferred.
Multi-Stream Source Code control applications

·         Load Testing tools

·         Application Integration

·         Excellent oral and written skills and be able to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical resources

Skills Preferred:

·         IBM (Sterling) Web Channel

·         The Grinder (load testing tool)

·         WebTrends

·         Ad Juggler

·         Experience working on a multi-shore team

·         Apache
