Summary:
Working as part of our public web site team at a large organization to
build public-facing web applications. We offer an excellent work
environment with a lot of talented designers and programmers to learn
from
and collaborate with. This is a chance to work on a number of challenging
and rewarding public-facing web projects.
Job Description and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and structured
application development methodologies. Demonstrated experience in
developing, testing and
debugging web applications. Preferred experience with
distributed technologies on Windows platforms. Highly desirable:
Application development using Microsoft .NET (VB.NETor C#), Microsoft
SQL Server, JavaScript, ASP, XML, ColdFusion, and/or SharePoint.
Projects will entail converting legacy web applications written in
ColdFusion to .NET. In addition, other work will be available such as
writing .NET applications to interface with our web content management
system (RedDot/OpenText).
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and System
Development Methodology.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET (preferably C#) and MS SQL Server
ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP, XML
Must be experienced at reverse-engineering code to gather business
requirements as some legacy applications have limited documentation
