| Description: | Major company has a long term contract position open for an experienced Business Analyst with over 10 years experience. Previous biotech / pharmaceutical industry experience is required. The Business Analyst responsibilities include: · Lead requirements elicitation interviews, meetings and workshops with our project team and functional representatives. · Create use case and detailed requirement specifications. · Create UML compliant diagrams as a way to understand requirements. · Partner with the development and test teams to ensure they understand the requirements. · Conduct user acceptance testing sessions. · Identify project risks and issues and work with the Workstream lead and Project Manager to mitigate them. · Partner closely with the Workstream lead, Business Leads, Program Lead and other program team members as necessary. The Business Analyst must have: · Experience in the biotech / pharmaceutical industyr. . Experience as a Business Analyst in a client facing role. . Change Management Experience. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily relate to core project team members and stakeholders. · Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms and help our clients ensure that the work we do for them delivers business value. · Flexible and ability to multitask: can easily adapt in an environment with constantly changing priorities. · Expertise in the creation and refinement of Use Cases. · Expertise in the development of detailed requirements specification. · Expertise in UML & BPMN. · Knowledge of RUP methodology and artifacts. · Microsoft PowerPoint. · Ability to quickly understand new business processes and to recognize the relevant business questions associated with a business process. · Ability to lead and influence Clients, other Business Analysts, and Technical Team members. |
