Job Title:   Java/J2ee Developer
Location:     Herndon, VA
Duration:    1 year contract

Required Skills:
B.S in Computer Science or related area
Strong Object Oriented design
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to understand customer needs and processes and be able to translate these into specific requirements
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Initiative to take responsibility for resolving issues
Self-motivation to learn new systems rapidly
Attention to detail and organization
Strong business ethics
Teamwork oriented
Experience in Head Start or similar Administration for Children and Family social services programs a plus
Java and Javascript development  5+ years Java software design and development
4+ years experience with J2EE,Servlets,Wicket,HTML,Hibernate,Spring,JDBC,SQL, subversion

Duties and Essential Job functions would be:
Implement specifications including process flows to produce web-based front-end user interfaces
Translate business processes into requirements for front-end interface and data management                    
Web-based testing, develop test cases and comprehensive test strategies
Generally assist contractor staff and federal agency officials in problem analysis and resolution, and operations support
