Location: Morristown, NJ

Rate: open

Length of project: 6 months

Interview: phone and face to face

 

Description:

 

• Produce detailed technical design document, and develop and implement applications per function design specifications given by a BA
• Create test plans and test cases, and perform unit, integration and regression testing
• Create deployment documents with the list of deployment items and test documents
• Create operating procedures documents
• Participate in post-implementation reviews
• Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems

Qualifications:

• Seasoned developer with extensive experience in financial services industry, preferably in investment asset management: buy-side or sell-side experience highly desired
• Core Java, SQL Server 2005/2008, Stored Procedures, Window command lines. Perl scripts (preferred), Unix command lines and scripts
• JMS (Java Message Service), XML, IBM MQ Series, WebSphere, Spring framework
• .NET, C#, SSIS/SSAS and Web Services is a big plus (Need to have the SSIS/SSAS experience)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Experience in SDLC
