Position : SQL SERVER Developer
Duration : 12 months
Location : Herndon VA

Job Description:

Development of the Business Intelligence and Data Registry products
using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and other BI toolsets

*Lead the design and develop of specific BI data base for collection,
tracking and report of healthcare data. Lead in the design, coding
testing and debugging of custom queries using Microsoft T-SQL, MDX and
SQL Reporting Services per defined technical specifications.
*Assist with the creation of the data quality report for submitting
data.
*Participate in the database architecture and design of transactional
database related to data collection tools and the clinical data
warehouse.
*Create script for ETL of database and OLAP cubes.
*10 years of hands-on software product development including at least
5 years experience with design and programming of SQL developers in a
multi-product software development organization
*Bachelor degree in business, computer science or related field
*3 years experience designing and developing OLAP databases
*Experience with healthcare clinical and claims data
*Deep knowledge and recent extensive experience with Microsoft core
development technologies with special aptitude towards SQL Server
systems; additional experience with .Net development is a plus
*Experience with specification, design, development, testing,
deployment and maintenance of software systems
*Experience in statistical programming in SQL, Experience using
charting software to create whisker diagrams/box plots, radar
diagrams, line graphs
*Solid understanding of web technologies, relational database and
multi-tier applications is expected
*Methodical and pragmatic problem-solver who inspires confidence and
trust with internal staff and users, with a strong sense of teamwork,
active listening skills and negotiation and influencing skills.
