Manager is primarily looking for an Oracle BI metadata architect for the Auto Loan Origination Systems. Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Financial background required. Besides the technical skills, this individual must be able to communicate effectively with management and end users, multi task and be business oriented. Must be able to work collaboratively with technical staff, and business experts to develop solutions to business requirements and client problems. Experience with Teradata database is a big plus. Must be able to work on site at least 3-4 days a week. Manager will be conducting phone screens first, as early as the 15-16th of February

The ideal candidate will function as a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Architect, participating in the design and implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) that can support the Loan Origination Process project.

Responsibilities/Duties:
.Architecting and implementing high quality, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions using company approved tools such as OBIEE. Must be aware of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs.
.Define and govern BI application and data warehouse best practices and standards to include software development practices, design styles and software deployment. Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement.
.Working with business lines, reporting development team and data warehouse architect to design RPD file (metadata) for the project.
.Work with project development teams to coordinate reports and metadata promotions from dev to QA and production

Technical Knowledge:

.Expert knowledge of Oracle BI server metadata design and development. Be able to build the Physical, Business Model and Mapping, and the Presentation Layers
.Expert knowledge of Oracle BI server and Oracle BI Presentation server security and administration.
.Expert knowledge of Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher and OBIEE Performance tuning of the BI applications
.Experience with Oracle BI Server support
.Experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2 UDB and DB2 Mainframe.
.Experience with data warehouse and relational data modeling design
.Excellent SQL skills and demonstrated ability to write complex SQL for purposes of analyzing data and/or evaluating how information needs might be translated into back end database structures.

Qualifications:

.A minimum of 7 years experience providing Business Intelligence architecture/administration/development in a Fortune 500 company.
.5+ years of experience with BI Architecture, Dimensional Modeling & Data Warehousing
.3+ years of experience with OBIEE 10.x (Siebel Analytics 7.x)
.B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Electrical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
.Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline is a BIG plus.
