Requirement Description:  

I need another resource at Con-way who is a Mainframe GURU.  (This is not related to Sandeep, we have put him to work and he is doing great for being here one day).  This is in ADDITION to the technical resources here on the ground at Con-way.

I am writing up the change request tonight to add 1 resource for 16 weeks that can be onsite to log onto their mainframe and tell us how big of an effort it is to move to PeopleSoft.  I am under the gun to have this person here onsite "this week, next week at the latest"  (I know you think I am smoking dope, I assure you, I am not, nor am I trying to be unrealistic, just quoting the client here.)   Do we have someone like this available?  I am thinking it is someone that we are going to have to go externally to get so there is a good chance that once we have identified the person, Con-way is going to want to speak to them as well.

Here are the required skills:

 

•         Mainframe Savvy, extensive knowledge with how processes run

•         Familiar with Mainframe Toolsets including:

1.        JCL

2.       SyncSort

3.       EZTrieve

4.       Control Cards

5.       Date or other routines

•         Familiar with CA7 Scheduler

•         Ability to migrate processes from Mainframe  CA7 to process scheduler

•         Provide guidance and make recommendations for best way to accomplish streamlined processing in the hosted environment

1.       Provide guidance and direction to AT&T off-shore resources

2.       Manage work of off-shore resources

•         Able to be onsite to work in person with the Con-way app development team

1.       log onto the mainframe at Con-way to perform analysis and research and apply that knowledge to the redesign required for the hosted environment
