Siebel Application Administrator                                                                                

Location: Northwest Suburb of Minneapolis MN

Duration: 6 Months

Rate = best all inclusive rate

 

Client is looking for Green Card holder or above because this could end up being a contract to hire if both parties like each other

                                                                                                                                                           

Job Purpose (A statement on why this position exists)

 

The Siebel Application Administrator provides day-to-day operational support for Clients Siebel and Oracle database environments.  This includes the support of development staff and business users.

 

Major Responsibilities (Describe the top 4-5 imperatives to achieve the position purpose)

•          Administer Assignment Manager/Rules ,Workflow Policies and EIM jobs

•          Configure and Manage server components.

•          Create and administer user, organization, position and divisions

•          Support our Seibel environment

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (What outcomes will help determine if this person is successful?)

•          Completes work efforts with high quality and high customer satisfaction

•          Meets deadlines with all projects, activities, and tasks

•          Follows defined IT processes

 

Job Requirements (minimum amount required and preferred expectations)

 

Experience

•          Deep knowledge of the Siebel Architecture and the data model

•          Experience in Siebel UCM/Sales/Service and Marketing applications preferred

•          Experience in Siebel Server installation and maintenance on Sun Solaris operating System, Siebel Upgrades, Clustering and File System migrations.

•          Experience in Repository Migration techniques

•          Experience in Siebel System Administration daily tasks such as

o          Configuring Application Components, Parameters, and configuration files

o          Familiarity with the Siebel command-line server manager interface

o          Familiarity with configuring and setting up Siebel Application Response Measurement (SARM)

o          Supporting High Interactivity clients, using Application Deployment Manager (ADM) to deploy application customizations

o          Experience in Performance tuning

o          Administer iHelp and Siebel State Model

o          Administer data like LOV's /Product line etc.

o          Configure and Administer Audit Trail.

•          Knowledge of Unix OS and Shell scripting a plus

•          Oracle DB experience a plus

 

Education

•          Bachelors degree or equivalent is required Other specialized skills, abilities, working conditions (Computer, interpersonal, analytical, willingness to travel, lifting, etc)

•          Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

•          Must be willing to work some night and/or weekend hours to accommodate project implementations
