DBA level knowledge:

Skill Sets:

 

·               Netezza internals, structures and system tables.

·               Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting

·               Strong SQL query skills

·               Strong skills in Java, JSP.

·               Prior Oracle DBA experience is needed as client is moving from a Oracle 10g environment to a Netezza appliance.

·               SQL*Loader , NzLoad, SQL*Plus,  NzSQL, PL/SQL, NZ PL/SQL, TOAD

 

Experience with:

 

·               Large scale risk management implementations

·               Agile development methodologies

·               Knowledge of data mining, data warehouse and data marts preferred.

·               Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata or SQL databases

·               Java development, JDBC, Object-Relational Mapping & Eclipse
