Description:
Service Desk Lead to join our automated batch operations team in the King of Prusssia, PA area to provide support
on a diverse technical operations team that builds and manages automation processes for our client. Experience
with file movement, FTP, scheduling, SQL Server, and .NET technologies is expected as well as a strong ability to
lead the activities of the team and build strong client relationships. Excellent communication and time management
skills are required as position is highly visible to business managers.
· Oversees and leads all activities of the team
· Provides directions to the team and manages shift assignments, schedules, client commitments
· Creates weekly status reporting and periodic metrics on team activities
· Excellent communication and time management skills as well as proficient in customer service processing
· Actively engages client IT managers and builds strong relationships
· Ability to adapt well to changing priorities, requirements and client deadlines
· Understands urgency of business needs and can adjust effectively to these needs
· Ensures all activities are being performed based on project commitments and communicates status to client sponsor or to business analysts
· Facilitates meetings, gains solid understanding of business concepts, and provides overall leadership to the team
· Responsible for implementing and adhering to change management, risk management, and issue management
· Strong technical skills in SQL Queries
· Ensures all team deliverables are met
