Job Description:
Requires an extensive knowledge and proven experience as a senior UNIX, RedHat Linux and Debian Linux system manager. Must be able to manage and support List services, SAMBA, FTP/SFTP, BIND - DNS, accounts management and other high level services. Ability to manage certificates, Apache, Tomcat, Squid, and Oracle web services is also required for this position. Must have a working knowledge of email message flow and anti SPAM applications. This position is responsible for backup ups and restoration of data on the servers, a working knowledge of Networker Legato software a plus.
The position requires knowledge of Oracle databases and Java from a systems perspective and the ability to work with the DBA and Middle Tier teams. Also a strong background in network and system security. These positions require excellent team skills. Additional qualifications include:

Unix - HP-UX/Tru64
Linux - Red Hat/Debian
Windows - Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, XP, Vista, Windows 7
AD - Group Policy
Backups - Legato, VCB, TAR, SCP, Cron
Scripting - VBScript, Bash, Perl, PHP, etc.
File Shares - NFS, CIFS, SAMBA
DNS - BIND
Proxy/Reverse Proxy - SQUID
FTP - proFTP
Web - Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Web Services, Certificates
Mail - Spam, Blocked, Missing Emails
Mailing List - Mailman
Security - System, Network, Firewall
Accounts Management (Lists, Oracle, FTP, SFTP, Linux, UNIX, SAMBA)
