Position:        SAP Technical Project Manager

Description:

* Must be experienced in SAP Implementations (at least 2-3 full cycle implementations). Familiar with SAP environments and SAP Centers of Excellence

* Successful Experience managing Corporate-wide Technical projects

* Strong understanding of SAP technology (ECC, BI, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, NWDI, Business Objects), N/N+1 landscapes, system builds, system refreshes, transport management. Able to make educated proposals about any of these areas

* Highly familiar with Project Management methodologies (PMBOK, ASAP) and software (MS Project, Share Point, etc)

* Excellent communication skills

 

Basic qualifications

• Experienced in working with multiple technical teams (including external suppliers), manage handoffs, risks and issues to achieve a common goal

• Ability to communicate at executive levels with a high level of confidence as well as technical team members involved in executing tasks

 

Other Core competencies

• Provides planning guidance to the technical team based on past experience and builds aggressive but attainable plans

• Ability to gather and collect key tasks and milestones to be included in a plan from multiple sources to compile a comprehensive project plan

• Experienced in creating a program or project schedule to organize and prioritize work in a project using MS Project 2010

• Identifies risks, issues and efficiently manage these to protect the deliverables of the project or program

• Able to create accurate status reports to keep steering and operating committees up to date on the current state of the program

• Has a natural ability to effectively address issues in a timely fashion

• Able to navigate corporate cultures and identify needs from multiple customers

• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required for managing a cross-team, cross-organizational program effort
