Title: Sr. Oracle Data Warehouse/EDW DBA

Location: Milwaukee WI

Duration: 6 Months (Extension up to 24 months)

Start: ASAP

 

Job Description:

 

Client is looking for an experience Oracle DBA with years of experience in Data Warehouse/EDW environment. The environment is an Oracle EDW database version 10G (soon to be upgraded to 11G) with RAC and Active Data Guard.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

§  Experience in RAC and Data Guard is a MUST, especially experience recommending performance optimization techniques which are applicable to OBI/Informatica environment.

§  Experienced in proactive monitoring methods, continually looking for ways to improve performance & manageability.

§  Identify issues related to performance in SQ queries and then recommend solutions to our Sustaining Support Team that can be implemented within the limitations and features available in Informatica v9 and OBI 11g in an Oracle 10g DB (soon to be upgraded to Oracle 11g).

§  Must be very good at defining and enforcing processes (migration, performance review and approval for change controls, etc) and defining and enforcing code standards. DBA Lead experience is a Plus.

 

Note: EDW DBA Experience & Performance optimization on RAC/Data Guard environment is a MUST. Please do not send your resume unless you have solid experience in both.
