Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based, custom software development and IT staffing firm, seeks a seasoned Web Applications Programmer/.Net Developer for a contract position based in south Florida.

 

Position Description         

 

Our client seeks a .NET Developer/Analyst to convert a series of .NET 1.X applications to .NET 4.0 and modify entry point to the SharePoint portal environment. Some of the applications have undergone some conversion, but were not finished. The developer will need to assess the current code and complete the conversions.  Additionally, the developer will be asked to assist with various ASP .NET applications, SQL coding, and/or Microsoft Reporting Services Reports.

 

Responsibilities     

 

·         Convert 1.X .NET applications to 4.0

·         Convert applications to use SharePoint portal methodology

·         Assist with SQL coding on ad hoc or production batch processes

·         Assist with design and implementation of Microsoft Reporting Services reports

 

Qualifications          

 

·         Strong knowledge of  ASP .NET coding

·         Experience with converting legacy .NET applications

·         T-SQL experience

·         Experience working with Microsoft Reporting Services

·         Experience creating and implementing SSIS packages

 

This position is an immediate need for our client.

 

This contract is funded for 6 months and offers the possibility of extensions.
