Quality Assurance Analyst

 

Job Location: New York, NY (mid-town)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Open

 

Experience:

 

Minimum 5 years of experience needed in the following areas:

   -   Automation using Selenium or other automation testing.

   -   Load testing and security testing.

   -   Creating test cases and test plans.

   -   Agile and Waterfall development models.

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study or other degree with additional 3 years of practical experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

●     Creating automation scripts using Selenium.

●     Creating test plans and test cases.

●     Creating test results report for management and development teams.

●     Reporting bugs using Atlassian Jira.

●     Knowledge sharing with US and off-shore QA team members.

●     Executing regression, functionality, smoke and cross-browser compatibility testing.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

●     Strong Written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

●     Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

●     Strong background in automation using Selenium.
