Technical/Functional Skills

:

Creates tools that are part of an overall software development tool chain. This includes tools such as the following:

·         Generation of XML meta-data documents from HMI specifications written in Excel

·         Code-generation of C and Javascript code based on XML meta-data

·         State machine generation from XML meta-data
Test case generation from XML meta-data

·         Automated regression frameworks and scripts
Extraction of GUI assets and location meta-data from Adobe Illustrator

Experience Required

·         The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience developing in Perl, Python experience is also desired.

·         The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience developing in C, JavaScript experience also desired.

·         Experience working with XML, meta-data driven tool-chains, and code generation is highly desired.

·         Experience with automated build systems and automated test systems are highly desired.

·         Must have ability to define/document tool requirements and create user documentation.
