Job Title: Software Application Tester
Job Location: Rochester, MN
Job Duration: 6 months(contract)
Pay Range: Open


Software Tester with Quality Center and HP Business Process Testing

Job Description:

The Software Application Tester will share joint responsibility with
SQA to own the testing requirements.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Adhere to the project schedules
• Thoroughly read and understand the functional specifications for
the project (Clarify ambiguous specifications with project team)
• Develop Test Plans as necessary (Strategy of how to execute the
test cases)
• Develop Test Cases (the test scenarios) and Data Sets
• Facilitating review and sign-off of the Test Cases (coversheet
review form) and Test Plan
• Execute Test Cases
• Document Test Results
• Log incidents
• Assist the project team in dispositioning the incidents

Perform follow-up activities such as:
•Edit test cases as necessary;
•Re-test as necessary;
•Update testing documentation as necessary;
•Develop a Test Summary

Desired skills include experience with HP testing tools such as
Quality Center , knowledge of key-word automation methodology, and
experience with HP's Business Process Testing (BPT).
