Title: Mid-level IT Security Engineer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Stamford CT

Job Description:

Mid-level security engineer.

This contingent worker will support and execute on various IT Security projects and initiatives within the environment.

The two primary initiatives will be the deployment and rollout of two-factor authentication as well as the transition and replacement of the current anti-virus solution.

The individual will need to collaborate and work with both internal  resources as well as external partners.
The ideal resource would have approximately 5-7 years of IT Security experience and should be familiar with the following:
• Windows Server architecture
• Workstation security configuration
• AD organizational structure and group policy enforcement
• Fundamental IT Security practices
• Hand on experience in configuring enterprise Anti-virus solutions
• Project management
The resource will be required to interact with various  resources, both internal and external to the business unit, to ensure the successful execution of the projects.

The resource should be able to function with minimal direction in executing the actions and steps as prescribed by the  point of contract
