Title: HDC Support Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6months
Primary Skills: Linux scripting, Apache Web Server , My SQL, PHP
Desired Experience: 5+ years
Must Haves
- 4 to 5 year's experience with Linux scripting, PHP scripting and Apache Web Server
- Good understanding of various network elements like load balancers, Firewalls
- Experience in SSL Certificate management
- Working experience in ecommerce applications support environment is a plus
- Very good skills of writing/understanding SQL queries MySQL DB.
- Production support experience participating in crisis calls
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills, be a team player and self-motivated
- Knowledge on Synthetic monitoring tools Gomez /BAC, Real user monitoring tools Coradiant, tealeaf etc, CDN like Akamai
Responsibility
- Work with Matrix teams network /Linux etc as needed to troubleshoot any site issues .
- Monitor and respond to alerts from various synthetic /Custom monitors.
- Document system architecture and changes
- Must be able to create new monitors on need basis
- Automate repeatable tasks and steps
- Must be good at using Service manager or some other similar Ticket management system
- Monitor ecommerce system's various components SLA's and response times etc
- Good analytical / Problem solving skills , must be able to correlate the sequence of activities
- Coordinate performance testing of major software releases
