PMP Certification Ensure that the IT project progresses as per schedule, plan and budget. It is important for the success of a project to deliver work within the schedule and the approved scope of the project. The program manager works by assigning resources, allocating work to project resources and regularly monitoring every stage of work.  The individual will work extensively with the EPAs application development team and the business divisions.   

Owns responsibility for the overall planning and execution of the project.

Responsible for understanding the requirements of the project and taking active part in planning, scheduling and budgeting the project 

Identifies resources needed and works with resource managers to assign responsibilities. 

Maintains the project plan and available budget.

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. 

Sets and manages client expectations. 

Reviews deliverables prepared by team before presenting to the client. 

Effectively applies the OHIO EPA Project Management methodology and enforces project standards. 

Prepares for project audits and quality assurance procedures. 

Effectively manages Risks, Action Items and Issues.

Effectively manages Project change management.

Ensures use of SharePoint for storing project documents. 

Provides status reports to the project team and management on a regular basis

Accountable for activities with excess delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months.

7 to 8 years

4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
