Job Description:

The client is looking for Jr. Sharepoint Developer for 1year contract in NYC, NY.

Mandatory Requirements:

•        Minimum of 4-5 years SharePoint application development experience

•        Minimum of 1 year SharePoint 2010 application development experience

•        Strong knowledge of the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies

•        Development of custom SharePoint web parts, workflows, web templates, event handlers

•        Packaging and deployment of SharePoint solutions, including use of PowerShell deployment scripts

•        Development experience of working with databases and web services (SQL 2005/2008, XML, WSDL, WCF)

•        Development best practices - coding standards, source control, prototyping and technical documentation

•        Unit testing for all assigned deliverables

•        Experience and understanding of Agile (SCRUM) development methodology

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Requirements:

•        Experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2010 is highly advantageous

•        Experience of client side development (JQuery, DHTML, DOM, AJAX)

•        Other SharePoint Technologies (InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, BCS/BDC)

•        Working within Microsoft's Team Foundation Server

•        Experience of SharePoint architecture and design

•        Experience administering SharePoint farms
