Data ware house Architect

Location: New York

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months Contract (can be extended) No, of position: 2

Job Description:

·               8+ years of industry experience

               Good experience in OBIEE

·               Requirement Analysis, Source System Study, EDW Design, ETL Architecture

·               Should have done complex EDW designs in atleast last 3-4 projects.

·               Strong knowledge and understanding of the following: Database Design, Development and Implementation practices; Data modeling; Application Database trouble-shooting; Relational databases; and SQL and PL/SQL.

·               3+ years of experience working in a data warehouse environment required.

·               Experience with data modeling (normalization, denormalization, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional modeling, star schema) required.

·               Perform Data analysis and Data profiling and identify Data quality issues

·               Assess Data extraction, report generation, and bugs appearing in operations involving the Data Warehouse

·               Confer with business and technical partners to understand and evaluate their needs for Data from the Data Warehouse and plan how it will be structured and accessed

·               Architect, design, and develop enterprise Data Warehouse components

·               High/Low Level Design of PL/SQL Code

·               Expertise in advanced PL/SQL techniques in Oracle 10g

·               Develops PL/SQL scripts for complex business requirements through analysis, design, development, testing, debugging and documentation phases.

·               Troubleshoot problems and provides solutions to them.
