Role: Cognos 4GL

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Experience & Skills Desired:

 

·         Minimum 4 years experience in maintaining/supporting applications using Cognos 4GL Language Ver. 7.8 and above.

·         Must have experience in Powerhouse Quiz, Oracle, SQL

·         Experience in Java, Specialty Pharmacy and PBM domain will be an added advantage.

·         The position demands a good oral and written communication skill as the consultant will have to interact directly with business users.

 

Responsibilities (indicative, not complete list):

 

·         Production support (24X7) & maintenance activities, working on enhancement requests

·         Documenting, monitoring and supporting the delivery of services (production support, enhancements and projects) related to the applications.

·         assisting with new implementations, upgrades to the production environment

·         Testing and managing disaster recovery tests and documentation.

·         managing the delivery process of the application and escalating issues in a timely manner and as per the pre-defined support processes agreed with customer(s).

·         Dealing with problems requiring flexible attitude to working hours

·         Ability to work with geographically spread teams (onshore/offshore)
