Position:  Sr Java Application Developer

Location:  Bloomfield, CT

Duration:  9 months+

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Act as a core member of the delivery team and produce cost effective technical solutions based on the functional requirements. Responsible for producing high level/Low level design solutions and complete development/Unit testing for the deliverables at hand. Resource should be able to strongly influence design decisions on the project. Responsible for Production Implementation during release and support post release warranty Work closely and partner with the SA,QA , Production support teams and Client management The successful candidate can be expected to

Required Skills :

·         5+ years of Core Java/J2EE skills (advanced Level),

·         Sun Certified

·         3 to 5 years of some of the following:

o   WAS, WSAD, SOA, Web services, XML, XSLT, Blaze Advisor, IBM Initiate, Oracle 11.2, DB2,

·         Need strong knowledge of writing/understanding complex database queries

·         SDLC knowledge

Nice to have:

·         nderstanding on ETL, Domain Knowledge - Healthcare
