Software Engineer (Systems) Level 3

BS in Computer Science with a concentration in hardware, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, and C/C++ language.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in real-time embedded software programming in C/C++/ARM assembly language and use of emulators, logic analyzers for debugging

Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques.

Experience in writing unit tests, preferably with CPPUnit.

One or more of the following are desired - Nice to Have:
Experience in developing and debugging embedded software for multicore processors or knowledge of ARM processor architecture.

Experience writing device drivers, preferable for Wind River VxWorks.

Experience in agile development methodology.

Experience with Wind River Workbench and VxWorks real-time operating system.

USB device side driver development

Must be able to work in a team environment, interfacing with hardware engineering, embedded software engineering, and PMO as necessary.

1.   Software Engineer (Systems) Level 5

1. The following skills are required:
a. Experience with command line scripting
b. Visual Basic & C++
c. Makefile experience
d. InstallShield, Windows Installer type experience
e. ClearCase experience (GUI/Cleartool)
f. Virtual machine experience

BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with at least 5 years experience in software programming.

Position requires working in a team environment.

Position requires successful candidate to work in the Mayfield Heights, OH, USA facility.

2. The following skills are desired:
a. Eclipse/plug-ins experience
b. Experience with accessing ClearQuest data using APIs
c. Knowledge of Perl
d. Knowledge of Python
e. Knowledge of Cmake
f. Knowledge of Bash scripting
g. Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS development
h. Knowledge of Coverity

 

 

2.  Software Engineer (Systems) Level 5

1. The following skills are required:
a. Minimum of 5 years experience in real-time embedded software programming in C/C++/ARM assembly language and debugging with emulator, preferably experience with Wind River Workbench and VxWorks real-time operating system.
