Job Title: Sr. AIX Administrator
Location: Mason, OH
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: $45/hr On C2C
Customer Specific Requirements:
Good hands on experience on AIX System administration and trouble shooting.
Installing/Upgrading AIX.
NFS and NIS administration
SAMBA and FTP administration
Virtualisation – VIO ,NPIV
Troubleshooting on issues belongs to LPAR/VIO
RAID and LVM Management
Experience in NIM
LPAR/DLPAR and HACMP Administration
Micro partitioning Administration
To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, Log file rotation.
Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
OS Level Performance Tuning
Knowledge of Shell Scripting.
Carries out AIX administration activities including Health checks, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Query and Service Level Management activities.
Assist team in complex technical issues.
Assists in the analysis of incidents and problems to show trends and potential problem areas, so that action can be taken to minimize the occurrence of incidents and to improve the process of problem reporting, analysis and clearance
