Job Title: SAP BW Architect
Location: Jackson, MI

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience architecting, developing and implementing
SAP BW business reporting systems/solutions.
Architecting background on at least two full life cycle BW
Implementations for medium to large projects of high complexity (ideally at
a US utility).
Ability to gather business requirements and translate it to
technical requirements/solution design.
Data warehouse modeling and implementation using best practice
approaches.
Strong understanding and experience with at least one front-end
reporting and analytical tool (Business Objects InfoView/Webi desired).
Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication /
facilitation skills (oral and written).
Project management: lead small teams of 1 - 3 resources (both
consulting and client employees).
Ability to work with all levels of employee groups.
Good mentoring skills.
Must have strong experience/skills in tuning DataWarehouse objects
in a BI landscape.
Utility industry background would be a significant plus.

Transformations, Start/End Routines, Partitioning, APDs, MDX and know how to
leverage BW Accelerator for queries.
Mastery level of knowledge with BW Extractors from the ECC & CRM systems and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies andtables.
Master of Data Services XI 3.1. Knowledge of 4.0 would be a plus.
Strong expertise in BEX query development.
Mastery level of knowledge in BOBJ Universes (ROLAP/MOLAP) and InfoView/Webi, with a good working knowledge of Crystal reports and Xcelcius.
Working knowledge of interfacing SAP BW to other SAP products, such
as BPC, GRC and CRM
Strong understanding of ECC, end-to-end data flows and interaction of data from one ECC module with other systems (CRM, GRC etc.)
Working knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 modules PM, ISU, HCM, FI, PS, QM & MM is a must.
BW excel-based reporting design and development
BW web reporting and web cockpit design and development
The following skill sets would be a plus:
BW system upgrade experience
BW integration with SAP Portals/Netweaver
Master Data Management (MDM)
Custom ABAP development experience
Web Services development experience with BW
Experience with other Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing ETL and
OLAP technologies
Background or experience in Business Analytics
Experience in SAP BO 4.0, BW 7.3 and SAP HANA would be a plus.
