Immediate Need For SQL developer/DBA - Interview And Start ASAP!!
Job Title: SQL developer/DBA
Location: Washington, DC (Local to DC/VA/MD)
Duration: 6 Months CTH
Role:
Personality/ Soft skills
Wants someone to come in with ample experience, ready to hit the ground running, and who does not need hand-holding.
He wants this person to be ready to contribute/bring new ideas and strategies to the table.
Environment- MS platform, SQL server 2005/2008, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, ASP.net.
The key is the ability to work in a multi-dimensional data reporting server environment
Working on a SQL Server 2008 R2
Database Mirroring in SQL Server 2005 and 2008 for high availability
Install, configured and maintained SQL Server 2008.
Migration - SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 as well as doing migrations from DTS to SSIS packages.
Must be able to be available for 24/7 on call support (shift work sometimes)
Excellent communication skills
Certified Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (would be nice)
Microsoft Certified in the following: (Would be nice)
SQL Server 2005- Implementation and Maintenance
SQL Server 2008- Implementation and Maintenance
Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008
