Title: Microstrategy Lead / Architect

Job Description:

MICROSTARTEGY – LEAD/ARCHITECT

• Extensive experience in MicroStrategy schema/modeling as an Architect – MUST BE HANDS-ON

• Strong skills/knowledge in field of report's optimization (that requires SQL knowledge) – SQL

knowledge is a MUST, lack of it will be a deal breaker, at the very least they must be able to check

and validate reports. Their SQL experience will be questioned during the interviews, they must be

prepared to answer/demonstrate their experience.

• Proficient in design and development of reports/dashboards and other objects.

• Strong experience in Administrating Intelligence Server, Web Server, Narrowcast Server – Only

piece that they are flexible on, should have knowledge and familiarity with the servers, but they

will not discount anyone if they lack the actual "administrating" experience.

• Candidates should have experience dealing with large DW's…B&N's DW is 90 terabytes.

• Netezza experience a +

• Communication – MUST be a "10", this person will be interacting with the Business/Marketing

group.

• ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE WITHIN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO NYC CURRENTLY, they do not

want to see anyone that has any level of relocation.
