Job Description:

As QA Analyst the candidate will be dedicated to testing area as well system analysis needs, and coordinating the testing efforts across Technology and Business.  The resource will work with Developers, Business Users, and Project Managers to develop, maintain, and execute quality assurance testing procedures and ensure that there is consistency and quality across our portfolio of projects. The Analyst will drive continuous improvement initiatives within team to ensure our testing process and environments are first class.
 

 Requirements:

·         Document quality assurance practices. Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.

·         Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs and investigating problems involving internal and external issues. Recommend solutions and work with the software engineers to correct the issue, document the changes.

• Create and own updating test plans, cases, and results for each testing cycle.
• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
• Work with the BSA team to ensure accurate and complete requirements are documented for both the development and QA team
• Participate in employee quality improvement teams to reduce defects and quality issues, and make recommendations to improve the production process based on findings from quality assurance analysis. The analyst monitors the procedure to determine if changes significantly improve the process and defect quantities.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
• Work with QA team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed. Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with test team to develop system and integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations.
• Analysts must be familiar with quality assurance practice, inspection techniques and testing procedures.

Qualifications:

·         A minimum 7 years of Experience with Test Methodology and HP Testing tools, including QuickTest Pro.

·         Working experience in overseeing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing.

·         Extensive experience with SQL Server or Oracle

·         Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.

·         Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.

·         Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.

·         Strong client focus Proficient with Microsoft products-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills

·         Custody or related securities knowledge a plus

·         Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) very desired - Fuego or comparable product

·         Knowledge of and experience using Agile methodology for project delivery

·         Candidate should be able to work alone and with a team to meet target dates.  Must be autonomous and comfortable with a constantly changing environment

·         Knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
