Must Haves
Strong in Java and J2EE
8+ years of working IS experience, designing and developing global architectures and technology solutions
Technical industry certifications in applicable field(s) (ie J2EE, Oracle, DB2, WebLogic, WebSphere, Sun) preferred
Competency in core technologies, including open standards, database, and integration technologies
Competency in one or more emerging technologies
Manage iterative software development processes with a focus on application and infrastructure architecture
Provide guidance and technical direction to team members, including training materials and presentations on relevant products and/or technologies
Review, recommend, and provide corrective action plans as required from a technical perspective

Research, assess, analyze and recommend Customer Enterprise Architecture standards and ensure their use (ie. web search engines, trend analysis and forecasting tools, content management systems, document management systems, application development tools, business and object modeling tools, application servers)
Provides interface for strategy and direction with technology providers
Evaluates emerging technologies and standards for impact on Customer
