Position:- Android Mobile tester

Location:- Bethlehem PA

Duration:- Long term

 

Required skills:-

Mobile Tester

•             3+ Years of previous experience in preforming functional testing

•             Good knowledge of requirements for mobile testing

•             Experience with QA/Testing mobile applications on a variety of mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile)

•             Detailed knowledge of Android OS is essential

•             Must have knowledge of various tools in the market to support testing for mobile devices on Android OS

•             Experience with HP Quality Center (if STI is using this tool for test management)

•             Clear understanding of Project release life cycle

•             Ability to work independently or in group

•             Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

•             Review application/functional requirement specifications and create test plan for verification and validation

•             Good understanding of testing processes

•             Create test plan and test suite for mobile testing

•             Review test plan and test suite with identified stakeholders

•             Execute test suite for mobile testing as per the project SDLC and release plan

•             Identify, log and triage defects

•             Regression testing

•             Report test results to identified project/application stakeholders

•             Provide support for UAT testing

•             Partner with development and project management teams to support testing of project releases

•             Support in simulating or reproducing post-production issues
