Position Title: Business Intelligence Architect (Front/Back End)

Location: Fort Lauderdale FL

Duration: 6+ months

Start: ASAP

Position Details:
• Own the overall technical vision and direction for the databases that support the reporting and analytics capabilities utilizing SQL Server BI Stack. 
• Create and deploy cubes, write complex database queries, consult with clients on business needs.
• Translate business needs into cubes requirements, and interface with company and client to ensure successful delivery of client reporting.
• Define the overall data strategy for all development of reports and dashboards.
• Drive database design and technical vision for reporting and analytics teams.
• Ensure a high degree of data quality by applying industry standards and best practice to design, development, and testing.
• Produce detailed documentation of design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Set standards for performance, scalability, and flexibility in a SQL Enterprise environment.
• Maintain source/version control for all Business Intelligence components and documentation.
• Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.

Experience Profile:
• 5+ years experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-scale databases
• 5+ years SQL experience
• Experience designing databases to handle millions of records with high performance
• Proficient in SSAS, .NET, Database structures, Data Warehouses, Cubes and similar skills
• Data architecture and data analysis 
• Excellent requirements gathering skills
• Proficient Business Intelligence (BI) development experience
• Experience using large relational databases for analytical reporting
• Experience with data mapping, naming, definition and value assignment best practices
• Excellent customer service and interaction skills 
• Stable record of direct employment

Preferred/Helpful:
• BS in Computer Science or related technical subject
• Data modelling experience
