Job Description (Please provide summary of the position):
Subject Matter expert in leading Design and Development in BO Reporting
Experience in Adoption of optimal Solutions using BO Capabilities.
Expertise and Strong experience in BI and Analytics domain.
Experience in End to End planning – Design, Development, QA and Deployment.
Experience in providing solutions by converting Business requirements into Technical Design.
Experience in coordinating with IT and Business Units of the application.
Responsibilities: Business Objects Solution Lead
Lead design, development and support of Business Objects reporting area in BI and Analytics delivery group.
Work with business partners to refine requirements
Devise solution alternatives and influence adoption of right approach with business teams
Work with IT partners to deliver solutions
Drive Quality Assurance (test plans, user acceptance), production planning and deployment activities
Ensure solution delivery is aligned with best practices, IT Standards
Mentor other team members on technical and functional reporting areas

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong end user management experience
10+ years of experience in IT and Business Intelligence area
Strong, hands on experience with Business Objects XI Release 2 and Release 4 versions (at least 7+ years)
Solid experience designing Business Object semantics layers (Universes, IDTs)
Good understanding of data warehouse methodology
Experience upgrading Business Objects reporting environment from BO XI R2 to R4
Experience with SQL queries
