Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Merrimack,NH
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Client will hire over the phone
Skill and Role Summary:
Database Developer will work with the data modeler/analyst to understand and implement the business requirement. Work will involve designing and developing the data management and data movement services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related preferred
7+ years' experience designing, developing, and implementing software, and relational databases
Demonstrated experience in all of the following: Oracle PL/SQL and developing relational databases (Oracle Preferred) , Data Distribution products
Experience in financial services industry is preferred
Good understanding of the application and database development process including analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution and planning, and full competency in all relevant coding environments, languages, tools, and platforms
A solid working knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Data Modeling, Shell Scripting
Knowledge and experience of Netezza database is going to a be huge plus
Must be quality driven and have an attention to detail in order to assist the team in providing high quality, cutting-edge technical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical associates
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to the database applications
