PLCB is willing to do an initial Phone Interview, however, an In Person Interview will be required for this position.
Required skills/years:
PCI audit and remediation experience: 2
Linux Security & Administration (SuSE (preferred) or RedHat) experience: 3
Previous consulting experience showing clients what settings/configuration work must be done (and how to do it) to get best reporting results: 1
Highly desired:
AIX Security & Administration experience: 3
Desired:
rsyslog, syslog, syslog-ng filters and configurations, including applications experience: 1
The selected candidate will be needed to do the following:
- Act as the PLCB's expert on BlackStrata's LogStorm product
- Provide a fit/gap analysis for BlackStrata's LogStorm product
- Review the use of the product at the PLCB
- Provide suggestions for reports, alerts and rules and implement them in concert with the PLCB
- Provide configurations, guidelines, etc... for SuSe Linux, RedHat Linux and AIX to support Payment Card Industry Data Security Specifications and GAAP audit requirements and assist in their implementation
- Provide configurations, guidelines, etc... for Linux and AIX (r)syslog(-ng) configurations, filters, etc... to support Payment Card Industry Data Security Specifications and GAAP audit requirements assist in their implementation
- Provide recommendations, guidelines, etc... for Cisco router and switch configurations, filters, etc... to support Payment Card Industry Data Security Specifications and GAAP audit requirements assist in their implementation
- Mentor the PLCB's Security section on the use of LogStorm
