Minimum experience of 10-12 years with atleast 7 years of core java experience.

Expert level knowledge of Core and advanced java technologies

Expert level CS foundation concepts such as data structures, inter- process communication, threading etc.

Expert level experience with J2EE, Servlets, jQuery, JSP, JSTL, AJAX, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, RMI, XML, XSLT, SAX, DOM with various middleware technologies

Good working knowledge of SOA/web services/distributed middleware/messaging experience

Expert level knowledge in advanced level java concepts – caching, multithreading, rule engine/workflow, ability to understand and design distributed systems with added complexity of real-time processing/calculations

Strong database knowledge. Experience in database schema design, review – experience with DDL, DML and strong SQL

Experienced in OOAD Techniques, developing Use Cases, Interaction Diagrams (Sequence, Class and Collaboration diagrams)

Skilled in unit testing using JUnit and writing Build scripts using ANT and Maven, source control and versioning tools such as VSS, Subversion (SVN), Clear case

Application Servers like BEA Web Logic, Web sphere, Apache Tomcat and JBoss

Expert level knowledge of Design patterns

Hands-on UNIX/Linux and working knowledge with scripting (Shell etc.)

Very strong communication skills, ability to coordinate and manage technology design/architecture sessions with technical teams

Financial industry experience is a plus

Flexible and proactive/ self- motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution

Ability to multi- task under pressure and guide/mentor team
