Job Title: Business Rule Architect
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Requirements:
Responsible for the overall design and integration of Business Rules Engine system
Experience in rule modeling and integration using IBM ILOG, WODM or IODM
Experience in implementation of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts
Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies and best practices
Experience with extensible markup language (XML)
Demonstrated experience with application architecture in the Java space
Experience analyzing functional requirements and working with business analysts
Demonstrated ability to master new material quickly and independently
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Review the rule modeling strategy and analysis done by the junior developers and approve
Ability to perform code reviews and recommend automated review tools for the project
Ability to think through performance requirements for a system and come out with testing those scenarios and troubleshoot server runtime issues that result
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) , preferably using Java
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices Preferred Skills
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers Implementation of BRMS using best practices of rules engine technology is a plus
Ability to understand methodologies and tools used for delivery and display a passion to follow and devise processes for improving quality
Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables
Ability to understand requirements and turn them to useful client deliverables using a team
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
Working experience in core Java skills
Experience in configuring and maintaining rules engine using IBM ILOG JRULES
