According to the hiring manager: key requirement for that role would be someone who has hands on experience managing Websphere Message Broker; managing technology vendors; operation support for the development team; manage across teams;

 

Purpose
Works with teams to provide SOA tool subject matter expertise and tool usage standards

 

Responsibilities/Activities:
Work with SOA tool usage, optimization, and tuning (ESB, Testing, Registry, Policy Manager, etc.)
Work with teams to provide SOA tool subject matter expert service
Define tools usage and standards, and interface with tool end-users/SMEs to provide guidelines
Define tool roadmaps and participate in evaluations
Set up, configure and install tools for initial use and provide consulting
Define SOA infrastructure required for tools

 

Job Requirements:
Broad knowledge of SOA Tools (ESB, Testing, Registry, Policy Manager, etc.)
Broad knowledge of SOA and lifecycle methodology
Good knowledge of SOA policies
3+ years' experience managing the IBM SOA Infrastructure stack including Websphere Message Broker, Websphere Service Registry and Repository, and IBM Process Server
Experience managing Business Rules Engine software preferably IBM ILog
Experience managing Configuration Management tools preferably IBM Clearcase
IBM WebSphere App Server (WAS) experience
Well-developed analytical and troubleshooting intellect
Good mentoring and communication skills
