Qualifications :

•15+ years of project management experience delivering large complex projects

•3-5 years of experience in software product development, systems integration, and/or software implementation services.

•2-5 years of Financial Services experience strongly preferred

•Process management/improvement in the area of delivery methodologies strongly preferred

•Available to travel up to 10%

•Project Management Certification(PMP) desired

•Bachelor's Degree required, MBA desired

Position Description:

The Biller Senior Project Manager is the execution arm of the Project sponsor. It is a key role responsible for aligning the different organizations needed to deliver throughout the entire life cycle for the approved projects of the Biller Solutions Portfolio.

 

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering within specified time, cost, and quality. Scope of responsibility includes oversight and management of multiple projects, leveraging various skill-sets ensuring a consistent usage of standard program management practices. Provide overall execution leadership to realize the overall delivery roadmap. The role blends program management, relationship management, and process improvement/organizational change skills to deliver on the promise of One Fiserv.

 

Job Responsibilities:

•Formulate, gain alignment, and execute on the project approach, end state vision and roadmap for the effort

•Build and foster a high performance matrix team by identifying resources and skill-sets needed and implementing a management plan to ensure successful delivery of the overall effort

•Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery through direct management and overall coordination of all related efforts and tracks of work

•Practically apply project management concepts to facilitate the achievement of project objectives.

•Align scope to ensure the solution is effectively understood by all parties. Ensure a holistic view by coordinating with and monitoring all impacted processes from initiation to launch.

•Foster and build cross team relationships and be seen as single point of escalation through the project. Develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with internal key stakeholders across the Fiserv business units to maximize effectiveness and influence.

 

Establish foundational Governance project components including: -

- Communication Management: Establishes mechanisms to set and manage expectations and ensure on-going control of the Project.

- Integration Management: Maintain overarching consolidated engagement schedule/timeline highlighting the major milestones for key Project activities. Managed escalated risks and cross organizational issues.

-Scope Management: Governance of any impacting change across the tracks of work
