"Experience building RPD's from scratch based off of large and complex Oracle OLTP database (i.e. the source is not a star schema, it is a normalized OLTP database structure)."

Need experience building Essbase cubes

Candidate needs to be very senior where they have lived as an OBIEE Administrator for their career.  

Candidates will need to develop from scratch - they are not using an "out of the box" OBIEE application.

Role Description:

• This role is responsible for the overall RPD architecture for the BI solution. 
• Ensure RPD design and development is performed in a consistent manner following agreed upon design and development principles and standards. 
• Performs all required RPD design and development work. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall Common Enterprise Information Model architecture, design and development 
• Works closely with the dashboard/report architects and developers to ensure the Common Enterprise Information Model will meet the needs of the user community 
• Participates in business requirements, data model, and dashboard/report design reviews. 
• Coordinates with other BI Architects (e.g. Data Architect) to ensure a cohesive solution for the enterprise 
• Fulfills responsibilities associated with the Common Enterprise Information Model Developer role as needed on projects 
• Perform demos and support JAD sessions as needed 
• Install, configure and tune the OBIEE application 

Skills:

• Trained and experienced in the development and maintenance of the Oracle BI Repository (RPD).
• Proficient with the Oracle BI Server Administration tool 
• Expert dimensional modeling skills 
• Expert SQL skills 
• Expert in Oracle Answers 
• Excellent communication and documentation skills 
• Reporting and analysis system configuration, report development, and testing skills 
• Reporting and analysis application construction, and testing skills 
• Ability to conduct requirements definition sessions 
• Ability to conduct application development and design session 
• OLAP expertise
• Dashboard specific expertise
