Systems Engineer

3 Months Contract to Hire

This is a Contract to Hire Position, Green Card & US Citizens Only Must have CCNP or CCND and Voice or Unified Call Manager Experience. Please send the candidates that will go in for Inperson interview. Candidate must be able to pass drug screen and background check. Good communication skills are must.

Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Follow standardized processes and procedures for implementation and consulting.

Assist with install/project data collection during the course of the project.

Be able to work independently and in a team environment managing a range of customers and technical situations.

Provide hands on installation and support (as well as remote, phone and email).

Complete projects at client sites thoroughly and on-time.

Design, install, monitor, and maintain client unified communications environments from simple to complex multi-site networks.

Resolve service delivery and client issues as needed.

Attend all service appointments on-time, for full duration, with focus on providing quality client service.

Submit detailed records in a timely manner (time sheets, tickets, reports, etc).

Identify and escalate business and technical challenges as appropriate.

Keep accurate, timely and thorough client site documentation.

Meet with colleagues, managers and account managers regarding account status, ongoing issues and opportunities.

Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.

Available for on-call and emergency response as needed.

Identify and recommend improvement opportunities that are consistent with client needs.

Professional appearance as outlined in the handbook.

Off hour work and overnight travel may be required.

Maintain a high level of professionalism with customers, vendors and staff.

Cisco CCDP, CCNP is preferred.

A minimum of five years-experience in the implementation, design, and/or maintenance of converged networks utilizing Cisco products.

Hands on knowledge and experience designing, configuring and maintaining of Cisco Unified Communications is preferred.

Has experience/education in most of the products that install along with an in depth knowledge of some of these products.

Can support advanced level router configurations and is well versed in Layer 2 & 3 switch configurations.

Can utilize network diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network problems, and works with colleagues or vendor TAC for assistance.

Strong verbal and written communication, customer facing skills, and a can-do attitude are required.

Excellent customer service and customer management skills.

Strong technical leadership is required.
