JOB Title: Data Analyst - Accounting

Location: Richardson, TX

Duration: 6 months plus project

Need someone with an order to cash process understanding for this role in Richardson, TX

Prepares and reviews a variety of financial data and assists in maintaining/updating revenue forecasts and preparing various financial reports as necessary.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintaining current revenue forecast and updating daily as needed Assist in tracking and completing material return requests (RMAs) and providing weekly reporting to management on the same

Produce, review and analyze actual revenues against forecasts and report out variances Scrutinizes compliance with internal controls through understanding and application of corporate policies and practices

Expected to independently analyze problems where there are data inconsistencies (for missing data points, etc.) and provide recommendations for improvement

Analyzes results and trends, develops resolutions to identified problems and present findings to management Works on projects that address business needs and improves processes Completes ad hoc requests and analysis of financial data as needed

SKILLS

Strong Intermediate to Expert Excel skills required

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, etc.)

Planning and organization; an ability to plan and manage multiple projects at the same time Problem solving skills.

Detail oriented.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education Required: Bachelors (Accounting or Finance)

Experience Required: 2-4 years relevant experience
