Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Norcross, GA & Charlotte, NC

Duration: Fulltime/Permanent

Roles & Responsibility:

Design, build and support complex high availability, high capacity WAN and LAN networks supporting multiple major data centers. 

Skills and Experience:

·         First, candidates must be experienced engineers that design, configure, and support large scale WAN, LAN and Load Balancer networks.  

·         The candidate must be able to gather requirements, design solutions using those requirements and then perform the actual deployment, installation and configuration changes on the Access Layer and Distribution Layer components following defined operating processes. 

·         The candidate must also be able to transition run support for these network solutions to the Operations team. 

·         This capability would include strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.

Second, candidates are expected to have deep engineering knowledge and experience with the following technologies:

•           Cisco 6500 series equipment and modules

•           Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000 series equipment

•           Cisco Virtual Switching System (VSS)

•           F5 Load Balancers

•           BGP and EIGRP protocols
