Position- Informatica Developer

Location- Minneapolis, MN

As part of ESUP, the individual would work with the Reporting and Data Management Work Stream to participate in analysis and documentation of changes to the existing University of Minnesota data warehouse, create ETL specifications and test table modifications. 

The project is the modification of a large and very mature Oracle ad-hoc query data warehouse. The source system for this data warehouse is going through a major upgrade which affects most of the ad-hoc query tables, especially in the areas of student and human resources data.

An experienced informatica ETL developer is needed to help with retro-fit efforts for the existing data warehouse.

Essential Skills: 

·         Experienced Informatica ETL Developer

·         Experience in SSIS is a plus

·         Work effectively in fast – paced and changing team environment

·         Design, test, implement, and document extract programs and database objects consistent with business specification, complying with standards and customer requirements

Qualifications:

·         Advanced experience with Informatica Powercenter

·         Experience with following tools: TOAD,  SQL developer

·         Microsoft Analysis Services,SSIS: Integration Services is a plus

·         Experience with ORACLE and SQL Server databases

·         Experience with one or more of the following query languages:  SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact SQL (T-SQL)

·         Experience with Linux Shell scripting

·         Strong writing, verbal and problem solving skills

·         Familiarity with data warehousing/decision support concepts and usage

·         Familiarity with data modeling
