Immediate need a Sybase Database Admin - VA
Position : Sybase Database Admin
Location : McLean, VA
Duration : 6+ Months

Duration : 6+ Months
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience as Sybase DBA with Sybase Replication
Experience with ASE 15.0.x and Replication Server 15.x
2+ years experience in Oracle Database Administration, preferably 11g.
Strong in Unix & Shell programming.
Experience in database version upgrades and migration to Linux OS.
Nice to have:
C/Perl/SybPerl experience
Application DBA experience
Troubleshooting Knowledge of client interfaces to database (such as ODBC/JDBC/Sybase native client/Perl DBI/DBD etc...)
