Location: Albany, NY 12243
Estimated Length: 24 months
Mandatory Requirements
Programmer: - Analysis, design , coding , component and assembly testing of all application code owner by the Application Team - Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work - Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions
Senior: 60 – 84 months Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education.
Desired Requirements
1. 60 months experience performing application development work in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL using Oracle 10g or Oracle 11i against a very large database containing more than 300 tables utilizing complex business rules
2. 36 months experience performing development work using Oracle Report Builder or Cognos on a database system which maintains historical data: demographic and financial.
3. 24 months experience performing application development work using Oracle Application Express (APEX) to design and maintain web applications
4. 24 months experience monitoring a 24/7 production schedule of approximately 250 jobs a month. Respond to communications from production control staff and resolve any operational problems
5. 24 months experience creating production environment runbooks using a shell scripting tool with Perl scripting preferred.
