MUST Have worked with State Government project before, especially if they have worked at the State of Florida or other state Department of Health.
- 6 or more years' of experience with database navigational
and analysis tools.
• 6 or more years' of experience of documented application
development expertise in the following technologies and
products: object-oriented and object-relational design and
development, web technologies, XML, HTML, MS SQL,
Microsoft .Net (VB.Net, ASP.Net), MS Visual Studio 2003
and 2005
• 6 or more years' of experience with modifying, developing,
designing, and maintaining .NET applications to meet design
and change specifications
• 6 or more years' of experience with MS SourceSafe as a
versioning tool.
• 6 or more years' of experience with modifying, developing,
designing, and maintaining PL/SQL procedural code.
• 6 or more years' of experience with maintaining technical
documentation for all development task
Job Description
• Modify, develop, design, and maintain .NET applications;
• Design model objects (tables, views indexes);
• Develop ad-hoc queries on MSSQL Databases;
• Provide analytical services for system incidents and enhancements;
• Process defect tickets to correct system errors within one (1) to two (2) business days;
• Process release tickets to manage user requirements within the timeframe directed by the specific ticket request. The
response (due) date of tickets assigned will range from one (1) hour to more than one (1) week;
• Process change tickets to implement system changes on a weekly basis;
• Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements;
• Process defect tickets to correct system errors within one (1) to two (2) business days;
• Provide analytical services on systems to identify operational efficiencies;
• Facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff;
• Document system technical objects, business requirements, business processes, and system processes;
• Test application code;
• Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements;
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff;
• Facilitate meetings with technical and program staff (scheduling meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action
items);
• Produce work estimates to implement user-defined requirements and system changes;
• Produce status reports on the implementation of user-defined requirements;
• Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks;
• Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT staff to ensure compliance with DOH standards;
• Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams, internal stakeholders regarding project activities,
deliverables, and status..
