Title: Epic Infrastructure Services Manager

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Houston, TX

Need someone who has done an Epic role out is preferred.

Description:
The person is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of the server and storage requirements for the client's Epic Application Deployment at their Houston facilities.
This responsibility includes coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and testing of the overall back end infrastructure to include disaster recovery plans for Server and Storage operations.
They will lead the design of the infrastructure for the applications, manage team members, and provide direction and oversight to Server Engineering, DBA and security teams working on the application.
They will be expected to create reports to provide updates on system uptime and operational overhead while serving as the spokesperson for the Epic Infrastructure team

Requirements:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Management or related field and/or experience
5+ years of management in IT
3+ years of experience configuring Services and Storage for Epic Applications
Excellent knowledge of IT processes including upgrades, installation, configuration and integration
Excellent documentation skills and ability to understand project scope, business requirements, and workflow diagrams
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Plusses:

Epic Certification
CAPM in Project Management or equivalent
